Hi. I have a gemeinhardt 3SHB open hole flute i've had it 4 almost three years now. It has come close to serving it's time anlong with my 4 other flutes. yeah 4 flutes...

What kind of flute should I get next? OR Should i stick with the one i have now and overhaul or something like that and then 3 years later get a new one?

Thanx

Well unless you can name something specific you don't like about the instrument it's probably not time for a new one. Generally when you've gotten all you can out of a flute, you start to notice things that are holding you back (lack of color, slow response, poor mechanism), and that's when you would want to upgrade. If you are set on the idea of a new flute, we can't tell you what kind to buy, but can make suggestions of some to try. The Gemeinhardt 3SB falls in the "intermediate" category, so if you're going to buy a new flute, you would want to go to a introductory pro model or higher (it doesn't make much sense to spend more money to get the same thing). You'll have to play test a bunch of different flutes to find one that you like the feel/sound of and that you think is worth the money. I would suggest trying:

Powell
Haynes
Brannen
Tom Green
Muramatsu
Nagahara
Altus
Pearl
Yamaha
Emanuel
Arista
Landell
Louis Lot
Sankyo

Since money is not an issue, most important is to have a chance to try playing any flute you choose from the list Flutist06 gave you. Any of those remarkable brands are serious and make wonderful instruments.
The idea is to get the best instrument you can with the money you have...
But remember, the best instrument for one person may not be the one for you. So the need for experimenting before buying.
