My flute that I have had for like 2 years now is getting messed up... My footjoint falls off when I am playing. The only thing my band teacher suggested was to put a small peice of paper in between it. Does anyone know any other way to "fix" it untill Christmas [I'm getting a new flute  ].

go to the hardware store and buy a roll of teflon tape, which is used in plumbing, simply wrap a piece around the loose joint and it will then hold firmly in place...
