if I have to see Micron or anyone eles prolong the silver plated vrs nickel plated thread i am going to SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! leave it alone! micron you need some help. this is a forum not your personal stomping ground. we lost members (good informative members) and will probably lose more because of all your crap! you just can't keep you mouth shut can you? you have to have the last word? so you got your wish. once again you dominated yet another forum. it would be fine if you would stick to saying things in a nice matter and continue with helping others with flute knowledge of your own. but no! you have to go on and on like a baby. and teaming up with a 13 year old in the process? what the heck is wrong with you? get over yourself. suzie has left cara is gone told the moderator to deleter her account. you just don't know when to give up! the truth be told. a kid comes on here with an attitude and enormous ego.. people get irritated and say something but then it is all justified because the kid is a kid, right? he may be a kid but he still knows his actions. so STOP Micron! it is obvious that the moderator doesn't give a ....! i am the next one to leave. i can't believe that this has gone on as long as it has. I, like others, would be encouraged to leave a forum containing content-less destructive posts like you have just written. I am not surprised that people are keeping away.

Binx, by opening a whole new thread, you are prolonging this argument even more. It is obvious that with something like what you wrote, people are going to disagree and argue with it.
It is ridiculous to bag on other people (Micron) for doing something you do yourself, Binx. I hope you realize that. Why are regular posters not posting? BEcause they are smart enough not to get into this mess. I only wish I was as intelligent as them. Why can't we all just let this go? IF we all just stopped responding on these threads, and stopped posting, no matter how offended somebody is, or how much they mant to say something, it would do the forum good. Can we please just leave this in the dust? After all, this has been over two weeks now of argueing over something stupid: Micron re-posting what he had previously said. Is it really worth it?

Almost every post I have been marked down for contained nothing in it that could offend anybody.
If we are going to argue about maturity (which I believe to be immature) then I have come to think now for some time, that EVERY post "thumbs-down" is face-slapping behaviour. Actually worse, because it is done anonymously, hence like face-slapping in the dark. And face slapping is behaviour that many people would call immature. A calm post always says something a lot better.
I wonder if this forum facility for "face-slapping" has anything to do with a culture that regards a cream-covered pie slappped in somebody's face to be funny. That's the only explanation I can think of to have it in a cyber-forum.
How about keeping to the ticks instead of the crosses, which has been my theme all along. I will no doubt be slapped for this calm suggestion, as with last time or two.
