I currently play on a Gigliotti mouthpiece, and it's a fairly decent mouthpiece, but I bought it when I was in 8th grade, and this time around I want to get a new mouthpiece that I've tested and I know is right for me.
So I would like some help with what brands to choose from to test.
From your personal experiences, what mouthpiece brands have you tried and liked?
I don't want any Vandoren suggestions, I can't stand their mouthpieces.
I hear the Clark Fobes mouthpieces are pretty good, but I'd like some others. And I'm not interested in any crystal mouthpieces either, so please accomodate my requests.
Thanks!
Kyle

I used a Rico B5 for a while. Crisp jazzy type sound. Recently I bought a (name you don't like) A T 45. (A T stands for Advanced Technology!!) Nice. I like it. Warm but fine tone. But I find the reed must be placed just right or I can get a wee buzzz! Alex, (an aquaintance of mine) of 40 years experience will only play a Bey. I heard him and he sounds great.

I'm also a HUGE fan of the Selmer C* or HS* mouthpiece on all reed instruments! The Grabner's are pretty good, too!
