I'm playing the excerpt from Beethoven's 4th symphony. I'm trying to find a recording of some sort... although I'm a little lost. It's titled "Allergo Vivace" and I'm using the Bonade Orchestral Studies for Clarinet book. I've tried to find them on youtube, but I can't seem to fit the clarinet excerpt anywhere. It's been sort of frustrating, and I'm wondering if anyone can help.
Uhm.. I think at 5:34 thats a solo from the Allegro ma nom troppo movement. I'm looking for the clarinet excerpt from the Allergo Vivace movement... I'm guessing it's in the first movement, Adagio - Allergo Vivace but I'm not sure where exactly it is, and since the clarinet plays piano almost throughout the whole excerpt it's fairly hard to pick it out.
Btw, the excerpt has 6 bars of rest before it starts... yet when I try and count 6 bars and then play it totally doesn't work. How does this Adagio - Allegro Vivance movement work? It's in cut time... I could sort of pick out some of the excerpt in one video, but it still didn't make sense. And I'm using the Bonade Orchestra Studies for Clarinet book.
