Hi Bass clarinet members.

Can anyone help me that I want to play Bass clarinet information and which the reed is best, rico, vandoren and other?

I only want to play for fun that's all but you know the book called Abracabra(long word I'm sure you know that one)..Can Learn that on Bass Clarinet?

I'm been play Bassoon for 5 years, now I not comfortable at the moment on bassoon so switch on bass clarinet.

Any good information on my new Bass Clarinet...I will let you know when my delivery come tomorrow or Wednesday. I promise you guys, or not lol!!!.

hi guys,

I got a Bass Clarinet recieved today at 8.30am this morning.

but the problem is Cases not good and safe. The Bass clarinet first upper is a bit loosing I don't understand why Gear4music never checkin before they off to delivery. I can't believe this.

3/ which reeds is best for me, I would like a comment about that. I like Vandoren is best for me

I really admire how you play despite being deaf. My experience with single reeds is that vandorens will be best. : )

ok I will do find on Vandoren but which size on Vandoren suitable for me?

yeah of course Im profoundly deaf and use hearing aid machine so I can hear the sound and I love it.

you might wanna try a size 3 reed...its not too soft or too hard

Let you know guys,

I'm take Bass Clarinet back to Gear4music because the between the 2 joint been lossing not stiff so they will check it up when Bass clarinet back to the shop today so He will phone my mum back when bass clarinet been check up see anything been damage or crack or something.
