I want to sell this oboe, but I need to know what its called before I can post it. It's a wooden oboe made by Fox, but that's all I know so far.

Here are some pics:

I have no idea what model Fox it is. It is an older full conservatory system with F lever key and articulated C#. Pretty standard stuff a while back.

It lacks the Bb resonance and third octave key you will find on newer models. Also the new Fox oboes (and Loree as well) have a tab on the F# key which this one doesn't; I've not quite figured out what that tab is for. Most players can live without the 3rd octave key.

It looks to be in good condition.

kmp - The tab on the F# key is to keep your finger from sliding off the key! As a beginner this always happened to me but I now have an older loree without the tab.

As for the oboe it looks like a full wood, full conservatory (no 3rd oct or Bb vent though) oboe.
