im a semi okay clarinet player but my music teacher drives me crazy, and i want to switch to oboe because it sounds soooo beatiful and as a plus, i sit farther away from the music teacher, but i heard it is extrememly different from each other...and im also practically broke...

Switching to oboe is unlikely to solve your problem, and will likely create new problems.

I started on clarinet and moved to oboe. I was great for me, and others I know. I would recomend it, bu the money would be a problem. How long have you been playing clarinet?
