Why are all girl trumpet players ugly? That is my question.
I have never met a hot girl trumpet player and I'm starting to think that its not possible.

That is like saying I have never seen a non geeky trumpet playing boy. And I know that isn't true. There are lots of stereotypes out there ( though this is one I have never heard). Many times ignorant people succumb to their stereotypes...

you know, maybe i was wrong, i did meet a hot trumpet player before, except she sucked at the trumpet, and she wasnt that hot, so i guess i was right.

Shallow much? That's like asking why all trumpet players don't play on the same model trumpet. I've seen quite a few pretty trumpet females out there that were fantastic at playing, etc. I guess it depends where you're from and just how superficial you EVIDENTLY are. Tsk-tsk

and Suzie, its funny that someone like you should call me shallow or superficial, because when you think about it, you are probably one member of one band somewhere in the sea of musical disaster in the united states. and the 40,000 dollars of tuition that separates me from you, takes my opinions, my situations, and my experience out of your league altogether.
now, taking all of this into consideration, who's life is more likely to be worth more in the eyes of the future?

At least you admit it! I mentioned the terms 'shallow' and 'superficial' due to the fact that people are more than just looks. What difference does it REALLY make if you sit next to what you'd consider an "ugly" female trumpet player that plays fantastically vs a "hot" trumpet player? Also, I'm not a member of ANY band, thanks for assuming though! Now, not only are you trying to irritate and/or insult me which is not working, I apologize, but you're also attempting to insult bands throughout the United States as well. Why does it matter whose life is "more likely to be worth more in the eyes of the future" or not? We all live and do what we enjoy doing-- that's LIFE. It's not COMPETITION, it's LIFE. There's too much competition throughout the world as it is and now you obviously find the need to compare yourself to others and try and determine who's better, etc. As for the "future", I buy, fix, and resell flutes and other woodwind instruments periodically. My future can be however I'd like it to be as I control my future and do with my life as I wish. I could do what I do now anywhere in the world with a minimum requirement of space and supplies and still exceed higher, financially, than most other people my age working full-time jobs. Finé for me!

this is getting weird...first of all, you're a twenty two year old flute repair woman who browses unpopular internet trumpet forums for offensive topics that you want to argue about.
do you find that you dont have enough to do? is your job falling through perhaps?
why are you not in any musical ensembles?
why are you so immature to argue with me over the internet.
i made this whole forum topic to pinpoint people like you, people who dont have enough to say, people who dont think for themselves, people who get offended by words and not meanings. if you read something online written by someone you dont know and will never meet, why do you get offended, it is my right as a person to write whatever i want, as it is yours to complain when i do, but know that you only make a complete and total idiot out of yourself by taking this seriously.
im not trying to back out of the things that i said about women, honestly, in my orchestra, i sit next to a girl, and the whole topic is bull, but why would you get so inflamed with this feminine rage?
you're 22 years old, you have a job, its a thursday night, you own your house probably...what are you doing
