i dont get it at all....where exactly does the double range start and end...where exactly does the triple range start and end? i think we all need to come to a consensus about this...

I think technically it starts at F# above the staff, but I just call that a high f#... I don't start till a G above high C

Agreed. Techniqually at F# over high C, but most commonly used starting at G above high C.
