When I play High notes, I put pressure on the mouthpiece I hear it`s wrong.

How can I play High notes without putting pressure??

Whe I blow in to the mouthpiece I tend to blow to the buttom portion of the mouthpiece not the center, is this a problem??

What is the wrong way of shaping lips??

What are some major errors of embassure??

I think you should be fine, i used to have a provlem with blowing into the bottom of the mouthpiece too. Just practice playing basic scales with your lips centered then move to harder things. About the pressure, i know there are certain ways to do it, but the one i use is basic, just practice minor scales with your trumpet pulled out from your lips once you start getting better start playing higher, this works for just about any problem, practice makes perfect. Tere is also an attachment for your mouthpeice that stops air from traveling through if you put too much pressure on the mouthpeice, i dont know how it works but i`ve heard good things about it. search for it it should work.

Generally, the right embouchure is the one that uses the facial muscles efficiently. I think that the timing put into producing a tongued note affects the embouchure a lot. If there is even a slight hesitation on playing a note, the embouchure may not form correctly. Set a metronome to 80, breath in (deeply) on 4 and hit a middle B on one (at about ff). When done correctly, the note will fly out in space because the horn is vibrating at its full rate. Do this a little each day and take the horn off your face after each attack. What I`m going for is muscle memory, rather than thinking about how the embouchure is formed or whether you have to push on the mouthpiece. One more thing. You know you have a bad embouchure or been playing too much when the lips hurt. When this happens, take a day off.

Well my lips do hurt when I play couple of songs with little high notes

People say that it`s wrong to press on the mouthpiece,
But how do I get my lips tight to get the high notes without pressing hard??

Think about your air. Breathing is the most important thing in life as well as trumpet playing. However, the idea for high notes is to more or less pucker lips. Some people only suggest to clamp down with the top and bottom lip, but I think it`s the combination of those muscles the corner muscles. When you`re playing, it`s best not to think about flexing these muscles. Do the exercise I recommend and practice on the mouthpiece alone AND think about your air more than your mouth. Lastly, find a good teacher, because searching for answers in the internet is not good enough to develop good technique. I can say many things, but I can`t show you.

You`re right about finding a good teacher.

My teacher is a Clarnet and Sax player,He use to play trumpet in college.

I`m thinking to drop my music school and find a trumpet teacher.

I think if there is too much fuss about the "right" and "wrong" embrochure then people get really confused. I aim for what feels most comfortable and produces the best tone quality. Mine isnt the most flattering embrouchure but it doesnt affect me in any way. I always aim to be relaxed and open as possible. I always try to think of leading with the air and not with the lip. When I do this correctly it doesnt even feel like im buzzing just blowing air through a piece of metal.
