So, I am a senior in high school, and I still have braces. I can play to a G (maybe Ab) above the bass staff, and I have pretty limited range for my level. I have a college audition in a month, and while also being in a clef I've never seen before (tenor clef, I'm thinking about writing in the note names), it's also high a lot of the time.
I'm at a loss at what to do, I can't play up that high, and I don't know how to improve. I've only ever been the best trombonist at my school, so I don't know what's wrong. (Guess you guys won't know either though) Any help would be greatly appreciated.
