Does anyone here play the euphonium? There isn`t a forum for it so I thought I`d post in here. I love playing it, and It`s fairly easy to switch between my trombone and my uncle`s euphonium. Anyways, just thought I`d check in and see if anyone did.

I play the euphonium and it`s a fairly simple instrument. I managed to grasp the basics in about a week after switching from my trumpet. I find that once you can play one low brass instrument the others are easy. It`s only a matter of learning the different notes.

dont knock low brass man, it take sa lot of talent to play well. if youer finding it so easy then your either lying, a prodigy, or your stupid enought to think that playing a few notes makes you good

I don`t play euphonium exactly. I play tuba, but I have fooled around with a euphonium before. It was a lot easier to get used to switching from tuba to euphonium than from trumpet to tuba when i first learned tuba. I would assume this because the nmouthpices are somewhat close to thesame size dpending what size you play with.

I play euphonium and i love it. I have played it for just over a year now and i too switched from the trumpet. it was simple because it was the same in TC but once i got a 4 valve and started to play in BC it got a little more interesting. but it did help me learn how to play trombone later.

Yeah, i`ve played one for three years now. it`s not that hard to learn, at least when compared to the flute, which i started on.

I play the euphonium. I`ve been playing for 5 years now ^.^

I absolutely love it. I started off with trumpet as most people then my band director switched me. Being low brass is so fun ^.^ Most people think we are there to keep the tempo but in reality we are much more lol ^.^

I just wish I could find some good Euphonium music out there.

ive been playin for 2 weeks now and i love it. i switched from drums to euphonium. personolly i think its hard

I have been playing the Euphonium for 8 years and I have to say that it is an awesome instrument. The only thing I don`t like about it is there`s no real good music for it. For solos, I find that Trombone music is decent enough.
