Hi, I'm wondering if there are any student violin concertos similar to Seitz's five concertos. If possible, links to the sheet music would be also nice. Thanks in advance!

Thanks for the link. I was actually looking for recommendations to specific pieces - something that will sound good playing by yourself (ie most of the "big" violin concertos require an orchestra).

This is the one I was after – Vivaldi's Concerto in Am Op. 3 No. 6. (It came up in conversation a few years ago – the daughter of a friend was performing it at her school.) Apparently it's one of the more straightforward concertos in the repertoire.

Anyhow, it should be just possible to use it in an unaccompanied situation; it'd be fine with piano.

Yeah, I am already familiar with that piece. Does anybody else have any recommendations they would like to make? Thanks!
