Hi there!! Just wondering if anyone can help me out on this one. I'm having serious trouble double stopping on open e sring. Can't seem to leave it clear at all. Have tried kind of twisting my left hand so it sits directly over the A but this is really uncomfortable and really doesn't look right. I don't have particularly large fingers either!!! Is there a technique for this or should I just throw away my new book of appalachian folk tunes??Any advice would be so greatly appreciated, ta muchly!! xo

Do you mean playing an open E and the same E on the A string as a double stop? Or playing any double stop with the open E string? Or something else?
