Hi everybody,
Well maybe its because I`m a novice but I cannot tell what instrument is being played in the beginning of Avril Lavigne`s song "I`m with you". To me it sounds like the violin and/or the cello, does anyone know for sure?

Your correct. It is either the Violin or Cello. But it is being played on a keyboard, so it does not have the pure sound a natural Violin would have.

Well there is a guitar in it but there is definately a bowed instrument also. That makes sense about being played on the keyboard. It sounds really good though.
