Hey everyone! I wanna know if anyone has a Hermit Shartel violin. If so, is it a good violin? I wanna know `cause I`ll be getting a violin soon.

I just bought one last week from Sam Ash. So far I`m quite pleased. Model--HMT35844X. They have a good discount on this one.

so did you buy your new violin yet? or at least try one out? I was so excited to be buying a new fiddle but I`m more then happy just to be able to spend time learning how to play my new one and not having to make a decision about how to make the best buy. good luck gene

Bought one 2 months ago and am very happy with it. If you change the strings and bridge it will sound much better. The bow is synthetic, if you get a decent one you will see an improvement with the sound. The strings and the bridge are the most important. Get better rosin the stuff that comes with it is synthetic as well.
