I am thinking about buying an electric cello. Unfortunately, I do not know alot about them.
Now I don`t know if it is good to buy one, or if they are horrible? I never played on one, only on accustics (for 8years).
I would appreciate trying something new, but however is it reasonable to buy one?
And which one is the best? Has the best sound etc.?

Do you know what I did, and others too. I bought a small microphone, like the one the size of an pencil eraser. I hooked it into my stereo and the microphone a few inches into one of the F holes and there you have it, an electric cello. Why buy a electric cello when you can just make one yourself!
