Greetings,

I`m wondering if there are any Lefty starter packages for Bass guitar. I`m leaning towards the Squire/Fender one. If there are better ones, what are they? Are they in left handed also?

Thank you for your time and consideration.

DONT get the fender squier. IT sucks! it`s an o.k beginer but there better beginer basses out there for a cheaper price.
Dean & yamaha have some good basses out but the colors kinda suck.
It depends if your looking for a cool looking bass or a good quallity bass.

Looks aren`t really a big thing, if it looks cool, awesome. If not, doesn`t matter. But my main question is lefty starter packages, which is still unanswered.. Anyone know if there are any? Which ones to get?

As a beginner, you have the fantastic
opportunity to NOT get a lefty outfit.

Ima lefty, can`t play a backward/lefty
ax to save my life, never owned or
wanted one. Learn to play a standard
instrument or you will regret learning
on a lefty ax, and regret it more and
more every year that passes.

BTW, there are no lefty keyboard or
wind instruments. After centuries of
existence, guitars mutated into lefty
freaks only a generation ago.

As a beginner, perhaps you`re assuming
that "Lefty" is a typical option for
most axes out there? just like you
get to choose black, red, or natural
color for the paint ? Fact is quite
the opposite, and lefty versions are
a shrinking portion, not an increasing
sliver of the market pie. Also, there
is almost no music written or arranged
for lefties

I`m a lefty, I play a regular tuba, and it wasnt until like 5 months after I started that my teacher was like "wtf?! you`re a lefty? wow"

I never noticed any hardships.

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/srs7/g=home/search/detail/base_pid/519229/ they have fender also, but u dont need beginner package, just get a bass amp.

im lefty but play right also. listen to other guy. if u can play right, then go for it.
otherwise u cut off tons of guitar/bass options.
