I'm just picking up the guitar again. About four years ago, I worked on the guitar for about a half a year, but becuase of huge conflict with my sister, I was complete discourged, quit guitar, and got rid of my guitar. I stuck with music (piano, percussion, clarinet, and violin) and now my sister is willing to let me barrow her electric guitar and she is now encouraging me to learn, and I really want to learn the electric guitar. I don't think I'll be albe to afford any lessons due to my current expenses for my other lessons and marching band dues, but I think I could manage to teach my self with my previous music experience and my little guitar background. Even though my sister offered to let me borrow her electric guitar, I'd like to get my own. Dose anyone have any suggestions of what I should get? I am also on a budget for buying a guitar. If you have any other comments that you would like to give me, I would be happy to hear them! All comments, suggestions, and ideas are welcome!

What can you get for 300 that's much good. Take your money into the guitar shop and buy what feels and sounds the best available. I suppose when you begin to get "into" it again you will upgrade anyway. Or look up in your local papers and see if someone is selling their old "axe". Do you guys still call the electric guitar an "axe". Or was that in my "old dayz".?
