There not just different size guitars, there`s different type guitars. Now, what d`you electric? Then you`d have the choice between an halobody(empty box with the 2 "s" on the body, blues style, like B.B.King, Joe Pass, etc) or the full body (no box just the pick-ups, you have a whole lot of variety of them)...or maybe you play classical or even accoustic guitar? Why d`you ask it for?

They actually make some that are ment to be for younger kids like 5 year olds that are a smaller. I have never heared them before but my guess is that they are probably higher pitched. If you are just playing by yourself then it shouldn`t matter though, it will just sound higher. That is if you play electric. I don`t konw though I will get back to you on how they sound if I can get a hear. Some brands also have different sized necks, basically just just different styles though. If none of that works for you just figure out a way to do it, you don`t have to hold your fingers or use the exact fingers that the book says, just so you can play and you can go to the other cords all right then that is just fine.

dont buy those yukulele. i heard this stuff when i was giving classes to kids at a private school. they dont just sound higher, they sound like crap. They are dezigned for 6 years old begginners who obviously dont know if it sound good, and who dont give a truck they do or not. If you`re learning guitar, its maybe just normal that you cant reach all the notes, like the open G chord, for exemple. Like buddy told you, when it gets too hard, just figure out other way to play the chord, in muffing the unwanted string, or in playing only on 3, 4, 5 strings. it often sounds beter than the full chords. If it doesnt work, play harmonica.

Hi, I don`t know what you are playing on but if its an acoustic guitar and they seem big maybe a spanish guitar or classical guitar will be better they are smaller. Check them out in a music store.
