Very interesting recording! recorded in 1935 or earlier. Szymanowski playis his own mazurka's op 50 nr 13 and op 62 nr. 1.

I have only a limited knowledge of Symanowski - but I certainly like the style. His playing seemed tied to the style of music - a lot of atmospheric feeling, and a harmony that stretched into the atonal. I liked it a lot, and will have to get a hold of more of his stuff to listen to. Thanks!
