MIDI files are music files on the internet, that don`t have words.. Does that help? I`m not that good at explaining things...

yeah right, but not necassarily for internet use. MIDI files are compressed music files. most of them are based on pure piano but many have sounds of combined instruments, there`s not human voice. the keyboard you have needs a plug-in cord, just like the input-output in TV`s for video. you can play music from your keyboard and save them as MIDI files for listening. Its just like recording what you`ve played but this time in .mid format. does that help???
