yea someone probably already said this before, but who cares how young you are? I mean, some of you kids need a big smack in the face. "im 7 years old and im a great virtuous pianist... and ur not! hahah hahah heh ahah hheh".

anyway, haha, the only instrument I`ve been playing since I was young was the drums. now since I`m 17, I`m getting into the piano: classical/romantic stuff. I can`t play any of the pieces you people can (cant afford spiffy lessons), but at least I wouldn`t go around bragging about my abilities if I could. seriously some of you kids need a big smack in the face by your parents. meh

Hi, I`m 11 years old!!! and you think 13 is young! I`ve been playing piano for 3 year. Does it bug you when some one who has been playing for twice the time you have says "I`m SO much better than you" Because thats happened to me!!! I know this girl but she has been playing for 6 years and a song that took her 3 weeks to learn, took me 2 days!!!

right i dont really get angry when someone says they are better cuz ppl are usually modest and im person with the highest grade of piano compared with everyone else so nobody says anything to me. what DOES get me all jealous is when ppl younger than me play good when i play at a concert of sumtin. like i mean they may not be better than me but they can play something i couldnt at their age.

I understand u on dat. I get pretty angry and jealous when everybody starts throwing all their bravos and so on for someone who is much younger, and for so I thought less accomplished than I am. Maybe this is the general reaction of all people who worked real hard to end up where they are now.

well i was 9 when i started piano but didnt enjoy it much so i didnt really work hard but now i am loving it and really persisting. hey did you know that mozart was 3 when he composed some of his first pieces and they are still played today?

it really doesn`t matter how young you were when you started playing...the first few years like when you are 5 or six are just to get you used to the instrument. when you get older and you mature you can really feel the song and understand it, not just play the notes (not saying that younger people can`t feel their songs, just that few do)

well im 12 and ive been playing piano since i was 4 and at 6 i was into the higher level books but i had to switch teachers since my old piano teacher didn`t teach in the summer and i couldn`t stand the long break but my teacher now is more professional, we go to Duquense universty and get judged once a year and have a few recitals.
