hey. i want a set so bad but don`t know what to get. i am stuck between three different types. the three types are.... pulse, titan, or verve percussion. anyone have an opinion? if you need to see them titans are at ebay.com on national music supply, pulse is at musiciansfriend.com, and verve percussion is at music123.com. please help. i want something that will let me pound on it and learn on it also. want something that will last long. thanks.

ive got titan which used to be called rockland drums... the symbols lasted me about 6 months. other than that they sound pretty good.

If you really want to get a set that is going to last awhile don`t bother with any of them. Get yourself a set of Peace demolition or Dna and your in business. If you don`t like Peace try the new Vex maple. Just don`t waste your money on the other three.

I have a verve, even though the cymbols are like round pices of metal, and the heads will ware pretty fast, it`s a good beginner set, and can be turned into a sweet drum kit if u "upgrade" them

Pulses are the worst set ever. Your cymbals will ast about 2 months and they sound trashy and gongy. GO with teh Tama Stagestar its about $390.00. I got it but the cymbals suck but other wise the set is awesome
