Stay away from Jupiters! They are not good horns. If you don`t have enough money for a better brand like Yamaha, Selmer, Buecher, ect. you might want to look into Conns. They are not fantastic horns but they are good for a low price range. Maybe Antigua Winds too?

I had a student one time that I helped get a jupitor. The thing practically fell appart. I`m getting into selling and will not list this horn. Plus, dealers mark them up way too high. I`ve got a real nice buffet on my web sight that plays well, great pads and action. I`ve played on it several times with a meyer. I could let it go for $390 I believe these are considered semi-pro. Feels and sounds pro to me. www.band2day.com

Hi,

I recently had my Sax (Yamaha) in for a service. Whilst it was being serviced (it took just over a week and a half) they gave me a Jupiter to use (was about 1 month old in very good condition, not sure which model tho), I did`nt like the sound of not being able to play a sax for this length of time. On being given the Jupiter, I took it home set it up and after playing it for about 5 mins, put it back in it`s case and went without playing a sax for a week and a half. It was that bad! IT IS TERRIBLE. The action is **** and the tone is laughable. I am not sure if I just got a duff sax but after this experience I would not go near another Jupiter. When my sax goes in for servicing next time I would rather do without.

MENTIRAS!!!!! PELOTUDOS!!! JAJAAJA!! NO TIENEN NI IDEA DE LA VIDA!!!!
ACÁ MISMO AL LADO MÍO TENGO MI JUPITER ALTO QUE YA TIENE 6 AÑOS.... LO USE UN TOCO, NUNCA LE HICE UN PUTO SERVICE CON LUTHIER PROFESIONAL Y ANDA AL PELO. LOS UNICOS ARREGLOS QUE LE HICE LOS HICE CON MIS PROPIAS MANOS, Y SIEMPRE QUE NECESITA LO LUBRICO. EL SONIDO ES UNA MARAVILLA, RE DULCE, REDONDE, CORPULENTO, EL CAÑO ES DE DIEZ, LOS QUE NECESITAN UN SELMER SERIES II PARA TENER UN SONIDO PASABLE ES POR QUE SON PUUTOOS. SON UNOS MARICAS (SISSI GIRLS) QUE NO PUEDEN AGUANTAR TOCAR CON UN BUEN APOYO.
YO TENGO ESTE SELMER.... TOCO SOBRE AGUDOS MUY AFINADOS (ALTISSIMO G, G#, A, A#, B, C, C#, D, D# AND E) Y EN EL REGISTRO GRAVE LA ROMPO, PERO PORQUE NO SOY PUTO Y ME PELO EL CULO EN LA SILLA ESTUDIANDO....
VAYANSE TODOS A LA RE MISMISA PUTA QUE LOS RE PARIO, PELOTUDOS!!!!!!
