I am looking for a used Yamaha YAS-62 for my 16 year old daughter.

Hi,
Best bet is your local music shop, make SURE you take somebody who can play the sax and knows what he/she is doing if you are buying second hand, or new for that matter. Why the YAS-62? Has she played before?

I checked with the local shops, but came up empty handed. The pro horns are hard to find used, even on Ebay they do not come up for auction often.
My daughter had been playing the sax for six years and her band director recommended the YAS-62 for her. He also mentioned that she has scholorship potential in her playing and this sax will help her acheive that.

Good Advice:
No matter what anyone says, go with what you want. You may not find a YAS-62, but there are still other horns out there. Take her to a local music store, and try some out. The YAS-62 is a good horn, though. It is a good entry level pro horn. Good luck in the find.
