Hello everyone and thanks for looking... I have a 1940 king tenor that was given to me. She's not in bad shape but one of the keys broke off and she could use a good refinish. Other then that the tenor Is in good shape but I don't know if the value of a old king is worth restoring... Thank you for your help

There's a website called saxgourmet that gives a lot of information about King Saxes. They seem like a really good instrument with a long heritage going back to the 18 hundreds. I would try to have it repaired and keep it as a collectors item, or if I wanted to sell it then I'd put my own price on it in ebay. I just saw a King Tenor that was sold on ebay and there were 30 bids made on it. Ebay can be a ripoff if you don't start the bidding at the price.

King Saxes supposedly have a unique sound so I would try to keep it & get it restored if I owned it.

Ebay can be a ripoff if you don't start the bidding at the price you are looking for.
