I brought a recorder once and it had scratches on it. I don't know what they are? I guesse their normal.

My recorder has those, and it has been under heavy playing for several years. It'll be fine, they're only minor scratches like you get on anything. I mean, would you want a refund for a wooden table just because it has a scratch? This is my two cents, :D.

I have a new yamaha tenor, and it has the same type scratches. It doesn't seem to affect the playing, so the cracks/scratches probably aren't a problem.
