NO!!!! more semicolons (and other little symboly things) appearing!!!!

ok ive dicovered that not only do (did, now) semicolons appear after apostrophes on member proflies, but also after alt codes. for instance, i was trying to make a little divider thing using ♫ and ♪ (alt 14 and 13) on my page. it came up like this:

♫;ô♫;ô♫;ô♫;ô♫;ô♫;ô♫;ô♫;ô♫;ô♫;ô♫;ô♫;ô♫;

it was supposed to look like this:

♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫♪♫

srry to have to ask again for help on this, but there really isnt anywhere else to turn! do alt codes just not work on here or is this something fixable?
