Hi – I don't quite understand your request, so this answer may not be of any help at all ... ... but have you looked at Finale NotePad? It's a freebie, if that's any consideration.
If you have $$$ to spend, then Finale or Sibelius seem to be the popular choices. Each has its particular advantages. I use another package, Logic, which is more oriented toward sequencing and recording; its typesetting of scores has some "quirks" that can have you tearing your hair out!

That's sooo weird....that's how I found Finale Notepad. I wanted to compose the elvish theme from LOTR into standard sheet music form. I'm a total LOTR fanatic (as well as Finale, it's a great program....and it's free!)

I don't really understand your question. Whats dma? Do you not know how to use the software?
And I wouldn't recommend the free Finale Software. The free one has a lot of limits.

Hi guys, the finale software has no baritone or euphonium included in its masterlist of instrmnt. It is my favorite instrmnt and I'm not happy practicing writing simple tunes on finale because I cannot write music part for baritone. Pls. suggest to me a music writing software where baritone is in the masterlist. thanks. happy holiday to all

I use notion music software. I like it because it's really easy to use. Plus, they record real instruments for the sound samples so it doesn't sound computerized!

I use a program called Melody Assistant. It's much easier to use than Garage Band(which I can't stand for sheet music.)

Sibelius four is an amazing software and its easy for a beginner to use. Finale is a more capable system but its also harder for a beginenr to use.

why don't you try finale. ive used the program myself and its relatively easy to use. i dont know exactly where to find as it was lent to me by a friend but my guess would be to try looking in your local music store. if they dont have it try looking for it on the net. other than finale theres no other programs im aware of that helps you compose music.

I use protoge form notion music and it is ammazing! The instuments sound realistic, and you can you a thing called Ntempo to speed control your music, and you can do scores as well. You can save your peices as soundwaves so you can play it on any computer with or with the software. Its only around £50 if you sniff around for a good deal and I think you can get a discount if you are in full time education in a proffessial buisness that composersd music.

If you wanna compose so bad, then use pen and paper. You can find and print blank manuscript off the internet. Just write your own clefs and whatnot, and you know, your own music, and you're good to go.
