There is no relation with number actually for the music notes. Just there is the rule for the music melody for the notes. For C chord, C key notes are fit together harmonically to understand. So we have to feel the music not the number. For this, there is no reason about number to understand music. We just count by number. It is good to play the piano by number to read the music notes fastly, but not understanding.
