I once saw a video of someone playing 2 notes at once on a tuba! Does anyone know how to do this?

It is called multiphonics (or poly phonics). It is pretty easy to do after you figure it out.
1st sing the tone you want to hear. Then try singing and buzzing your lips. Then try doing the same thing in your mouthpiece and then finally in your tuba. It is hard to change pitch while playing with your voice. But with some practice you can get it.

You mean all three at the same time? I haven't tried that on the horn. That doesn't really make sense to me though because whistling is make from the way you form your mouth. And you can't form your mouth like that and buzz at the same time.

Go to youtube and search rock and roll tuba. Sorry I can't link it to u, but I'm at school, and they have a sonic wall.

RichardRichard ,
you can whistle without using your lips by placing your tongue up on your hard palate of your mouth. Now how you can still buzz I haven't figured out . . . . . . yet.

Oh, well I am unable to whistle that way, also when people use their fingers to do it, don't understand it.
But I think that the steady stream of air required for the whistling might ruin the actual whistling whilst buzzing.
But why would you want to whistle anyway when you can "sing" into the instrument while buzzing.

Yeah, I never thought about whistling before until twoba above mentioned it. The singing is tough enough to learn.

What is cool though (and little kids seems to love it) is when you simply whistle through the tuba, and try to make it sound like a bomb is being dropped...
