I just realised that i dont know a lot a rock bands with girls... well do know and like the bangles, sahara hotnights and tegan and sara... but i dont know many bands with chicks.. so in your opinion, can girls rock like boys? is there a place, a scene for them? do you listen to some girls bands? I also think there are some prejudices concerning women and rock n roll..
it sucks
so what do you think about all that? oh and what good girl bands do you listen to? or that at least have some girls in it..?

I like the Donnas, Bikini Kill, Vanilla Ninja... I definately think there are prejudices about women in rock, cause it`s supposed to be "a men`s thing". I think girls should be more represented in the rock music industry, there are mostly girls pop & r`n`b bands, but you never really hear a lot about girl rock bands. That sucks.

Look "Chicks that like rock" if you want to listen to some real women rockers check out Nightwish and Therion, Those girls can sing very good and the music of the bands is amazing, specially Nightwish, listen to the album Wishmaster and Once, very good Albums
