Written in memory of my father who died in August 2019. This is a very personal tribute to my father but in all honesty it is a tribute to all who have lost their parents, it is a tribute to all who have served. Having grown up in a family that has been tied to the RAF you learn about the kinship and the bonds that are forged amongst these amazing and selfless people.
Per Adua ad Astra is the moto of the RAF, the music that this piece is based on are three bagel calls of their service, it finishes with the most poignant of them all (to all service families) The Last Post.
