Wow, it sounds like you're doing well. The reapir man actually comes from a local shop, and he takes the instruments from our school for repair, he isn't actually at the school. He usually is friendly, except when he loses my bassoon, then I get a tad cranky with him! How do you lose a bassoon?

No, unfortunately. I've been thinking of organising a website for myself but nothing's happening yet. I generally just give pieces a plug on a relevant forum and then email copies around.
For sightreading: are you familiar with some of the freebie sites? Here's a favourite: http://icking-music-archive.org/ByComposer.php (BTW, what degree of difficulty are you thinking of?)

I am doing great! I had to wake up at five this morning though, long story, lol.
It is time to get back in the swing of things soon though, I start school next wednesday. I have to go to a meeting at the high school, and I am walking downtown to pick up a girl and then we will be heading over together, so an early start is needed, I am just nervous on how cold it is going to be outside, lol. I am also excited for school, and of course band, I will be orchestra principal (bassoon) come October 20th (when concert season begins) and am really buckling down on my bassooning right now. What's going to stink is the fact that I will miss thursday and friday of practicing the bassoon (I am leaving) and the bassoon, like all instruments, If you don't practice it on a daily basis, your tone WILL go down the drain!
Write Back! I still can't believe I am up so early!
That would explain my rambling on and on, I guess That I am just toooo tired, lol! I don't usually write soo much!

lol! I will be playing in marching band next year, and I play flute in concert band and symphonic orchestra. I've been taking lessons for about 5 months, and have been playing flute for about a year. but im actually really good for my age(and I love the instrument to death!)

aha its Andalouse, a latin Classical piece in one of my solo books. its actually at a fairly slower tempo, the runs arent that difficult, although slurring to high A is a little difficult...
What kind of clarinet are you looking at? I'm going for a Muramatsu EX flute. I play clarinet but don't own one. lol

Well, technically its my headjoint, but yes it is "part" of my flute lol. I don't really like it that much though, I am looking forward to getting a new instrument, hopefully for xmas.
