I've been gone a couple of weeks. I see that flutes are still fighting however! Does that ever get better?

You are silly! Your picture is good! I have been thinking that I need a picture with an instrument in it, although when I play sometimes I bite my lips together. I might have to make several attempts to get one that doesn't look crazy!

Hey you have a new picture! It's harder to see you in this one though! Did you do that on purpose?

Hey there!
Thanks for the compliment on my picture. Things here are fabulous! I am getting my new Haynes very shortly and I CAN'T WAIT!!! This waiting is killing me! lol! I sold my Powell. I was fighting it for a long time and didn't want to sell it, but my hands just couldn't take the weight of it any longer. The Haynes is much lighter and more of a daintier flute. I am going to be putting my Nagahara headjoint on it. What a difference my headjoint makes on it too!!!

Hey Jose,
Thank so much for checking in on me
Things have been pretty hectic once again around here. We will be having a baby and it is going to be a rather rough pregnancy as I am consider high risk. So, I am trying to keep the stress down. Please keep us in your prayers.

Hello, you left me a message a long time ago and I have only just found it! Thank you for your lovely compliment.

I am dedicated to my flute and loving every minute of learning to play it and learning to understand music. I am taking grade 4 (I'm in the UK) at the end of the year and trying to learn lots of scales at the moment.

Thank you once again for your message,

Hi Jose, sorry for getting back to you so late. I did listen to your recordings and it sound incredible! Very good job! If you do any solo work just with the flute, please let me know I would love to hear that too.

Hugs!

Hi Jose,
Yeah.. those are all my cats and if you can beleive it, there are two others that aren't in the photo. They couldn't fit all on the window sill I suppose.

I am so happy to hear that you are so pleased with your new Nagahara headjoint. They are amazing! I am still saving up for my dream one which is a silver head with a 14 or 18 K gold lip plate and riser. Or maybe a platinum riser. I know that I really liked the 14K when I tried them, but couldn't afford it at the time. I did decide to sell the Williams and it is up on ebay right now. Headjoints are hard to sell though, so I may be stuck with it for a while longer.

Happpy fluting!

You headjoint sound wonderful! I have tried recording on my two heads and I can't hear much of a difference. I probably need a higher quality recording though as I was using my computer mic. I will have to get my husband to set up his all his recording stuff. Anyone that has heard me play live on both always say that the Nagahara is much fuller and that the Williams is sweeter. I guess it all just depends on which sound I am looking for at the time. That is probably why I should just keep both. My husband really wants a big screen plasma TV though and I would really love to get one for him. I need to sell a few more flutes first.

Which Naghara head did you get? Wasn't it a gold one? I really do love mine, but I might be selling it because I have a Williams also that I love and I really don't need both. I have been trying to decide which one I am going to sell for the past few months. I can't seem to make up my mind.

Hi,
Thanks, that is a picture of my dog. She was really tired when I tried to take the picture, so it was hard to keep her awake. I like your new photo too! Is that a new hair style? You look nice.
