But I have some difficulties in reading marks like the pp, f, cresc. and etc. I just want to finish my new piece. its title is "La CAmpanella" composed by Franz Liszt again, thanks for the ADD!! 12 months ago bente_kwatro yes. and ur chances arent that slim u know, you may learn it anytime even w/oformal lessons cos it's pretty much the same w/ the violin (tho its better w/ a teacher). so if u do have a background on any stringed instrument esp the violin, believe me, learning the viola is just a piece of cake. 14 months ago bente_kwatro uh yes. for me the viola is a lot easier. i've got stubby fingers u know. so its so hard to play the violin before cos i always end up touching the string which is near the string im playing on. plus the sound of the viola is, for me, a lot better. idk y. its just that! its pretty much the same for some people but for me there's a huge difference. so, whatever the difference is or are, both are still the best! :] 14 months ago bente_kwatro I switched to playing the viola cos its much easier when it comes to coming up with a good sound. The higher the strings are, the harder it is to come up w/ a good sound. I don't know. Its just an opinion. If u want to sound like a real violinist u have to perfect just about everything about it, esp the higher strings. 14 months ago bente_kwatro i see. my school isn't. haha. but we do have masses. every other month i think. 14 months ago bente_kwatro nothing special. haha. an ordinary school it is. i go to a private school btw. u? 14 months ago bente_kwatro i kno i know. as long as i get a grade that's higher than 80 im good. :]. 14 months ago bente_kwatro we have a different grading system here. its either u get a gold or a silver or none at all. to be a gold awardee a student must have straigh A's for a grade. and to be a silver awardee a student must at least have 2 to 3 A grades and the others must be higher than 85 or precisely 85. pretty hard i kno. hurts when everything's good except u got an 84. :[. see how unfair it is?! just one point can ruin everything! hmp. 14 months ago
