Guess what!! I had my audition to get back into sax 2 days ago. It wasn't really scary coz my auditioner was the teacher I had for the past 5 years of learning wind instruments. Anyways, I played my piece for her and she gave my some sight-reading and then she told me I was good enough to be in Symphonic Winds (symph winds for short, its the second best concert band at my school) but because there are so many saxes at my school already, then I had to be in the next one down. but I really don't mind because I thought I wouldn't even be good enough to get into that one but I am, so I'm kinda REALLY happy atm. And I'm gonna audition for a jazz band at the beginning of next year. Any tips for an aspiring jazz player? :P anyways, I'll talk to you soon.
