Food Lion is a grocery store. I guess every state doesn't have them....hmmmm....interesting. This year will be my first year as a drum major, but I have always held some kind of leadership role in the band. I'm going to miss playing my clarinet and dancing to stand tunes with my friends! I really like marching band and I really enjoy being a role model. I just really LOOOOOVE playing! I guess I can still play my clarinet to help out the flutes and clarinets with their parts. Yeah, that'll work!

lucky! lucky! i may do lessons in all that next year...not piano, though...since i am trying to teach myself more now, but idk.
i haven't practiced much this summer...this is the summer i've practiced the least ever! i'll practice a lot more hopefully after i move, though!

It's good to hear from you! It seems like everybody from my school ran straight to Subway or Food Lion! I was one of the lucky ones to get a job. I'm thinking about possibly getting an oboe with my new found money! As for the freshmen this year....I finally get to excercise my seniority! Yayyyy! I'll be sure not to go crazy on the drum major podium! Hopefully, they'll be quiet, submissive little children that enjoy listening more than talking....who am I kidding! Schoolgirl!!!!!! I miss you!=P I haven't talked to you in a long time. How are things going now that you're in the upperclassmen band? I hope that things are going well. I'm enjoying the company of experienced musicians in orchestra and I've met a lot of nice people! My life seems to be going well. I just got a job as a cashier at Food Lion and I've been having nightmares about horrible scanning scenarios! Well, I've blabbed on long enough. I hope that you are doing great!
