What brand name is good for someone that has been playing for 5 years and wants a reliable open holed flute?

thought I`d add...don`t go with Jupiter whatever you do...that brand is extremely crappy. My friend bought a trumbone in that brand and it was falling apart within the month. Horrid waste of anyones money.

yes.. i agree with the peson above.. dont get jupiter.. i have been playing for 7 years.. and i have only had one flute. it has lasted me, it still looks like new.. the keys arent sticking, nothing has broken, and it has an exellent sound. GO WITH ARMSTRONG FLUTES! they are the best in my experience.

go for a decent brand like yamaha, muramatsu, altus, miyasawa, powell, or sankyo.
I would recommend a muramatsu especially
