I have been playing for 2 years and I have just finished being able to play Mozarts Turkish March. I`m 13 so you think I must be lying but no.

My teacher makes me play Hanon everytime and is such a huge perfectionist. Trust me, if you don`t like piano, you`ll never get past her. I`m nothing compared to what another guy done. He was level 2 after he quit for a few years. In 2 years he played level 12. I`m not that good but I can play level 6. My hand technique is still not perfect.

Yes, the reason why you take long is that you have a bad finger technique, flat fingers prevent you from playing well. So forget that teacher that doesn`t even remember you well and get a teacher like mine
