At an estate sale I saw a clarinet with "criterion" on the bell. Was told it was probably from the 40`s. The man holding the sale (whom I know personally) said his daughter had put it together and played it and it had a rich tone. Wanted $85.00. Would need recorking. Local music store hadn`t heard of it. Immediately said it was from Sam`s or Walmart, but I am sure it is much older than that just by looks of it and the fact that the owner recently went into a nursing home. Old reeds on the box from Layfette, Indiana. Can someone give me some info?
