I am going into my 3rd year of under grad. school as a vocal and instrumental education major. I currently play on a Yamaha allegro with small bore. I would like to get a large bore for a more deeper tone and step up from an intermediate level instrument to a professional level instrument. I have looked very seriously at getting an Edwards, and worked enough over the summer to afford one. I have heard many, many good things about the Edwards. I`ve also thought about a Bach Stradivarius with a thayer Valve, which inturn would be alittle cheaper but would more than likely do just fine for me. Is an Edwards going over board, for my level? Which is the better horn, and which choice horn should I get.
