I have been carefully considering switching instruments. (From flute to oboe) I have played flute for a little over three years. I love it but am looking for something new. Music interests me and there is so much to learn about it! I played clarinet previous to flute for 5 and 1/2 years. So I know how to paly with a reed. Do you think I will make a smooth transition? I know that money comes to play with reeds and I know I cannot afford private lessons. Any advice? Should I give it a try?
