Go to www.Saxontheweb.com and look under equipment forum. This brand does not get good marks for the most part. It appears that some of the better "second" line beginner models might be Antigua Winds, Kessler, F.E.Olds, and LA Sax if you don`t want to spend the bucks for a Selmer, Yani, Yamaha, Keilwerth, etc. major brand. If not made in USA, Germany, France, or Japan it appears that Taiwan is much better than China. Again, most will tell you to try it out first vs. later. Good luck.
