In my band,I hear from percussionists and brass players about how the "flutes need to learn how to count," and the "oboes need to learn how to play," and so on about all the WW`s in our band, even though the WW`s without exception have been the hardest-working, best behaved, and best sounding section in our band.It seems like flutes get dissed more than anone else. Anybody else in the same situation?

I am. The drummers Tell us to stay on beat and Ms.B tells us we are, But if they were we are they would understand is Really hard. Sometimes, you gotta let these things go. Even if it gets really bad, you know how to play your insturment so dont listen to them. They make mistakes too.

Oh, yes, percussionists.
When they say to follow the beat, they mean follow (I)their beat, because, as we know, most percussionists are incapable of staying in time with the conductor.
