I started playing Clarinet in grade 6 (3 years ago) and i got my first clarinet 2 years ago. I got it used for 300$ and i loved it. i don`t know the exact name. i`ve looked everywhere. But i know it is a yamaha plastic clarinet. i`ve been thinking about getting a new one but my parents have someties said "you just got one two years ago". but i am more advanced than a normal person who`s been playing for three years. 5 weeks (about) after i started playing I could play a two octave C scale. it sounded hirrible but i could do it. After three years i`m still playing on a begginer clarinet. I`ve been reading some of the notes and sujestions on this site and i`m thinking i should get a Buffet E-11 with a vandoren b40 mouthpeice. Email me if you have any suggestions. Teenager_mag@hotmail.com Thanks

nice choice of a clarinet. I wouldn`t suggest getting a selmer u.s.a. or another yamaha, though. buffet clarinets are super good. ttfn

If you are really that advanced, don`t get an E-11 because you are just gonna end up getting a new horn in another 2 years. If you want a really good Buffet, get a Buffet pro R13. E11s are for "step-up" musicians(In other words, you are good but you still suck). If you really want one reduced price or you want to see other options of clarinets, get a catalog from the Woodwind and Brasswind co. at www.wwbw.com.
