i`m a relatively beginner tenor saxophonist that started on alto and i`m having a problem. whenever i play i start to hear a crackling noise in coming from my horn. as far as i can tell (and from what i`ve been told) it`s the spit making that sound. when i try sucking it out, it goes away but only for a few seconds of playing. is there any way i can train myself not to spit as much when i play or to reduce the annoying crackling?
