I`m in 8th grade and our school has us play cornets, not trumpets. I own a Yamaha and our school, central middle, lets you use a Bach strad cornet if your in our highst band (symphonic). As a graduation present, i get a trumpet because that`s what the highschool uses. I konw I`m getting a Strad, but any imput on the Windy city edition (pros and cons)
